Informed Consent & Coaching Agreement
1. Nature of Coaching
Coaching is a collaborative, client-centered process focused on self-exploration, awareness, and personal growth. Relationship coaching may explore patterns, communication, boundaries, values, and emotional awareness.
Coaching is not therapy, mental health treatment, or crisis intervention.
2. Coach Training & Scope
The coach holds certificates from Naturalistico and practices within the scope of coaching. The coach is not a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or medical professional.
The coach does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or treat mental health disorders.
3. Client Responsibility
You understand that:
- You are responsible for your own well-being, choices, and actions
- Coaching works best when you participate openly and honestly
- You may stop coaching at any time
Coaching is a partnership, and your engagement plays a key role in the process.
4. Confidentiality
All coaching conversations are kept confidential to the extent possible. Confidentiality may be broken only if required by law or if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
5. Emotional Awareness & Personal Growth
Coaching may bring up emotional topics or personal insights. While coaching is intended to be supportive and empowering, it may involve moments of discomfort as part of growth and self-reflection.
You are encouraged to seek additional professional support if deeper emotional or mental health concerns arise.
6. No Guarantees
You understand that coaching does not guarantee specific outcomes or results. Progress depends on many factors, including personal readiness, commitment, and external circumstances.
7. Emergency & Mental Health Support
Coaching is not appropriate for crisis situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or feel unsafe, please seek immediate support from local emergency services or a qualified mental health professional.
8. Agreement
By participating in coaching services, you confirm that:
- You understand what coaching is and is not
- You voluntarily consent to coaching services
- You take full responsibility for your participation and outcomes
